Another feature of Skyclock that isn't immediately obvious, is that with the presentation of the 24 hour clock one can envision a day or "visualize" a day. With Skyclock one can see a graphic presentation of night, no matter when or where.
Skyclock allows users to "see" time as no other timepiece has ever managed. For instance, "daytime" in New York City and daytime in Detroit may, on a digital clock, be the same, but with Skyclock's unique signature, our visual representation of the day is unique. Yes, both cities are within the Eastern time zone, but Skyclock displays an accurate graphic "schematic". 
Here's what's distinctive: Skyclock identifies and displays twilight: there are two officially identified lengths of twilight: civil and nautical. When the sun descends below our horizon it's in motion because of the earth's rotation. Using dusk as an example, when the sun "goes down" below the horizon civil twilight is initiated. The sun continues to descend. After it has reached 6 degrees below the horizon, continuing its descent, another official twilight begins: nautical twilight. Twilights length depends upon date and latitude, but between 30-and 50-degrees north latitude (world-wide an area of high population) the length of each twilight is around 28 minutes.
