Digital Twilight Times Display |
Skyclock
graphically shows twilight periods, sunrise, and sunset on an analog clock
face. The clock adjusts for daily
changes in sunrise, sunset, and twilight periods, and also adjusts by specific
location.
Skyclock Features Include:
- 12 & 24 Hour Display Option—You
can adjust the display to show a 12-hour clock face or a 24-hour clock
face. While most prefer the 12-hour
face, the 24-hour clock face, more commonly used in aviation and military
applications, is popular.
The 24-hour display shows both morning and evening twilight periods at
once.
- AM / PM Swith —When in
12-hour display mode, you can click to see the twilight period occurring in the
'other' 12 hours of the day. Meaning, if you are in the PM hours, you can see the AM hours, and likeways AM to PM. This is useful if you want
to know, for example, when twilight begins the next morning to plan your hunting,
fishing, or outdoor work to begin at first light, instead of waiting for
sunrise.
- Data points—in addition to the unique
analog clock display, the following information is displayed for each location:
- Latitude & Longitude
- Date
- Time Zone
- Sunrise & Sunset Times
- Astronomical, Nautical, and Civil Twilight Times
- GMT offset
- Time of Zenith and Zenith Elevation (in degrees)
